Solution for Smelly Laboratory?

My company is dealing with oil so our laboratory will be used to perform FFA% test, PV value test and IV value testing daily.

Due to the chemicals used and retaining oil sample in our lab which will be in time turn rancid, our lab is full of chemical and sourish smell.

Any idea to solve this problem, or any good odour absorber recommend?

Answer:
Try to keep things in the fume hood as much as possible. When I have used sulfur containing compounds I usually used bleach to get rid of the smell in the lab. Baking soda might also help.
I'm no scientist but i guess that you have to use something that you are sure wont react with the fumes to make something dangerous. What i would do is ask someone at the lab who really knows.

good luck and be careful, fumes are something that you should not take lightly.
Make sure you have decent air evacuation in the lab if your samples are not directly in the fume hood. You can use damp rid to help reduce the odor since it should be non reactive to the fumes. Otherwise you will just have to deal with it.
