What are the components of a dry cell?

please and thank you!ΓΌ

Answer:
they are primary (cannot be recharged)
contain a paste in which chemical reactions take place to produce and eletric current.
A typical dry cell consists of a carbon (graphite) rod in its center capped with a metal button to form a good conductor that will not shatter. The outer casing consists of a zinc alloy that will be eaten away when current is drawn. The rod and casing are separated by a paste that causes a chemical reaction at the zinc casing, producing electrons that flow in an external circuit (between the rod and casing) when current is drawn. Although the paste is 'wet' it is much drier than a lead acid battery in a car.
