How do you prevent freezer burn(ice crystals) after you open an ice cream container?



Answer:
First don't leave the ice cream out too long after opening (to a point where it's melting inside the container). Second, scrape the sides of the contianer and compact all the remaining ice cream down with a metal spatula. Last but not least check the the tempature gage on the freezer (if I recall correctly -25° C is appropriate).
