Melting point of several items, please help?

I just need the melting point(like the point when its heated) of plastic foam, the boiling point of cooking oil, thanks

Answer:
Polypropylene foam melts at 165 C. http://937-foam.5.opaqueskies.com/...

Cooking Oil. Like all hydrocarbons, has a flach point vs. a boiling point. The flash point for cooking oil is about 315 C. However, before the flash point is reached, cooking oil will have a "smoke point." Smoke point is the temperature to which an oil can be heated before it smokes and discolors—indications of decomposition. If you are cooking with oil and it begins to smoke, you have reached its smoke point. At the smoke point, the oil begins to emit unpleasant odors and impart unsavory flavors to your meal. Watch out for the smoke point signs as it means you are getting close to the flash point, which is when the oil can erupt into flames. http://missvickie.com/howto/spices/oils.
Here is a short list for the cooking oils. It depends on the type. Also, different sources give different numbers.

For the plastic foam, you will need to be more specific as to the type. Many foams do not melt, the decompose first.
