Which expands more when heated,a solid,a liquid, or a gas?why?

It's a gas because it has definate shape or volume. Then a liquid, then a plasma, then a solid.
Gas particles will expand more. They already have a large space between the particles so that the intermolecular attraction is basically zero. So as the temperature goes up, the gas particles have more energy and there is nothing pulling them together.

Solids and liquids have intermolecular attraction and do not expand as much
A gas since, the particles are further apart and with a lower density having higher kinetic energy, as they are heated the particles gain more kinetic energy and move freely in random motion filling whaever space is available.
Unlike solids which vibrate etc.
A gas will expand the most. It's molecules are already free to move randomly and have NO definite shape or Volume.
They have a high Kinetic Energy and very low forces of attraction between them. Heating simply gives the molecules more freedom and more space to move around in by increasing their Kinetic Energy more so than in liquids and even more than in solids due to their greater forces of attraction...
