Depending on the use, analytical solvents will have specific low levels of some impurities. By knowing which test that is done and the harmful impurites, a much cheaper form of high purity solvent may be specified. True, analytical solvents which are labled as "spectrographic grade" or "HPLC grade" have very low levels of everything they can get out and generally very low isomeric content as well. Some of the best are shipped in their own containers with valving to be hooked directly to the equipment with no air or moisture contamination possible.
Analytical grade solvents are exceptionally pure solvents that have had most of the common impurities removed, and are typically accompanied by a lot analysis so you know exactly what impurities are left in the solvent when you use it.

You can analyze anything with them, but they're so expensive that you'd probably never use them for chemical synthesis.
