What is the melting point and boiling point of Argon, Phosphorus and Fluorine?
Answer:
Argon
MP= −189.35 °C, −308.83 °F
BP= −185.85 °C, −302.53 °F
Phosphorous
MP= 44.2 °C, 111.6 °F
BP= 277 °C, 531 °F
Fluorine
MP= -219.62 °C, -363.32 °F
BP= -188.12 °C, -306.62 °F
According to Noblemind.com. The melting point of Argon is -189.2 º C. The melting point of Phosphorous is 44.1 º C. The melting point of Fluorine is -219.62 º C.
Why the melting point of fluorine and Argon is below freezing point? I also don't understand. But I think argon and fluorine is gas so it take an extremely low temperature for them to become liquid.
Argon: Melting -189.38 deg C, Boiling -185.87 deg C
Phosphorus:
White: Melting 44.15 deg C, Boiling 280.3 deg C
Fluorine:
Melting -219.61 deg C, Boiling -118.13 deg C
Argon : Melting point -83.80 K, (−189.35 °C, −308.83 °F)
Boiling point, 87.30 K, (−185.85 °C, −302.53 °F)
Phosphorus : Melting point (white) 317.3 K, (44.2 °C, 111.6 °F)
Boiling point 550 K, (277 °C, 531 °F)
Flurorine : Melting point 53.53 K , (-219.62 °C, -363.32 °F)
Boiling point 85.03 K, (-188.12 °C, -306.62 °F)
