What is the heaviest type of metal (weight wise)?
I was wondering what the the heaviest type of metal is? I mean like the metal you can use to build stuff not music

I guess it depends on what you mean by heaviest.
If you are talking about the weight you could measure on a scale, well that would depend on how much of the metal you had and so you would find that a metal that is much more common could be the heaviest - just because there's more of it than there is of plutonium ... or any other metal with greater density or higher atomic weight.
If you are talking about density or atomic weight, well that would be different.
The metal with the greatest DENSITY is in fact Osmium, with a density of 22.61 g/cm−3 (about TWICE as dense as lead)
The metal with the greatest Atomic weight ... well just keep heading down the periodic table. You'll find those high atomic weight elements down the bottom. But you won't find much of them in actual quantities!
Plutonium is pretty heavy stuff. It's fairly dense (though not as dense as Osmium) and it has a fairly high atomic number. But I'm sure I could put together a bigger mass of lead than you could put together of plutonium!
