What is the product of the Cu(NO3)2 + NH3? Is it just Cu(NH3)4 or Cu(NH3)4 + NO3?

Is this a reaction of coordination compounds/ions? How do you predict products of this type of reaction?

Answer:
[ Cu(NH3)4 ]2+

remember, with 2+ valence
Cu(NO3)2 + 4NH3 ==> Cu(NH3)4(NO3)2

& this time I'm damn sure.

Usually, one of the reactant just adds up with other.But there are xceptions.
Cu(NH3)2+NO3
