How to differentiate between organic and inorganic compounds?

Answer:
Organics contain Carbon, besides that they tend to contain Nitrogen, Hydrogen and oxygen as well, but mostly Carbon.
organic compounds usually contain the element carbon
The easiest way is by solubility. Inorganic compounds normally do not dissolve in organic solvents but organic compounds do. Conversely inorganic compounds dissolve in H2O but organic compounds do not. Another method is by the melting point. Most organic compounds will have a much lower melting point than inorganic compounds.
organic compounds contain carbon. inorganic compounds do not... its that simple.

c^6, 12, but 14 is a little different.
organic compounds contains C & H element
whichi s Carbon & Hydrogen

Like for eg. Alkane --> Ethane
which have 2 carbon atoms
then use the formula CnH2n +2, where n is the no of C atom

so, the ans is C2H6

H H
they are the compounds containing carbon .. oh , and magnets repel organic compounds . they attract some non- organic ones
