Would these chemicals form a precipitate if mixed in water? plz help!?

1) ammonium chloride (NH₄Cl) and sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄)
2) ammonium chloride (NH₄Cl) and lead(II) nitrate, Pb(NO₃)₂

Answer:
The first one won't do anything, while the second one will give a white precipitate of lead(II) chloride:

Pb(NO3)2 + 2NH4Cl -----> PbCl2 + 2NH4NO3

Or: Pb2+ + 2Cl- ----> PbCl2
the second one will form a precipitate of lead II chloride
and PbCl2 is covalent, unlike other compounds with metallic and non-metallic elements.
