Without getting too theological or philosophical, the choices you gave beg the question: Where did those first acids and bases or CH4 come from? Assuming that all elements were created in stars and were dispersed when suns went nova or supernova, hydrogen and oxygen were probably flung free and combined on their own in the heat of the explosion.

Hydrogen has been around since the Big Bang, and oxygen was created in the centers of large stars. Very early the earth was quite hot, but some water probably formed as steam.

Water will just form naturally when Hydrogen and Oxygen mix... I don't think Lightening has anything to do with it... just precipitation.
to simply put it God created all things for man to survive. when He made land and the fruits and trees He had to give trees life for man to eat along the animals water to stay alive so man can eat. He is a smart God. He knows all.
