Elements in gas?

What 2 elements are used for gas in MIG welding?

Answer:
Corgon gas (CO2) is used for general mild steel welding applications. Argon is used for aluminium. These are the only two gases I have used in workshop with my MIG.
Argon and helium but CO2 is also used in some mig welding processes.
