I need information about polyester multi fiber?

structure & how to dye it

Answer:
Polyester multifiber, also called polyester blends, have a wide difference in structure and properties. Cotton is a typical secondary fiber, but many others have been used.

The structure of polyesters will depend upon the source and the secondary fiber. Polyethylene Teraphthalate (PET) is one of the most common polyesters.

Appropriate dyes and mordants will depend upon the exact composition of the polyester and whether or not the polymer has been chemically modified. Nothing can replace experimental data obtained directly by using the exact fiber from a reliable source and commercially available dyes and mordants.
