What is the empirical formula of each substance?

Can you please show me step by step on how to get these answers?

H2O2, peroxide
C18H12, chrysene
C10H16O2, chrysanthemic acid in pyrethrum flowers
C9H18N6, altretamine
C2H4N2O2, oxamide

Answer:
To find the Empirical formula, remember what that means? It means the lowest whole ratio of atoms. Take molar mass and divide by empirical mass and then times that by the subscripts of your given compound. :)

H2O2 = HO (they reduce basically)
C18H12

Take 216grams C/12.0grams of C and you will get 18.
Take 12grams H and divide by 1.01g H and you will get 11.9

18 11.9 -----------> 18/11.9 11.9/11.9
you now have these values, divide everything by the smallest value. You now have..1.5 C and 1 H

Since you can't have 1.5 of at atom, you always double these values until they are whole numbers, 1.5 doubles to 3 and H doubles to 2. So you have C3H2 which is your final answer. You can use this method to solve the other problems. Hope this helps. :)
Peroxide: HO
Chrysine: C3H2
Chrysanthemic Acid: C5H8O
Altretamine: C3H6N2
Oxamide: CH2NO

There ya go :-).
