the books which i'm going to select for you.for iit-physics you should go for resnik and halliday if u want knw detail and h.c verma for ur concepts..for iit- chemistry go for p.bahadur (physical chemistry) and morrision abd boyd(organic)...and formaths r.d sharma or any book by tmh publication...gud luck

For general chemistry, any book by Zumdahl is good. For analytical chemistry, books by Skoog are good.
Shaum's Outline. They have a whole series of volumes. These books help alot, trust me. :)
