What is the molecular geometry for C2H6?

Maybe the link helps :)
You have two CH3 groups bonded together. Each carbon uses sp3 bonding, and 3 of the 4 bonds of each bond with H. The 4th bond of each bonds with the other carbon.

Definitely tetrahedral geometry at each carbon, which is due to SP3 orbital hybridization at each carbon atom.
