Do spontaneous processes have K<1?

Answer:
The K or the equilibrium constant of a reaction does not indicate whether a reaction is spontaneous or not. It only indicates the extent to which the reaction will carry out itself. The reaction takes place even after the equilibrium is reached. Only, there is a reverse reaction taking place at the same rate and so we do not notice any appreciable change in the system.

So spontaneous reactions can have K <>= 1
