this reminds me of this episode of Mythbusters why they tried to lift a kid using helium balloons. they filled the entire hangar with balloons. but there still wasn't enought lift. and mind you there has got to be a million balloon there. they concluded that lifting a person using balloons is not possible
so i guess mythbusters got busted

hell yeah... upon lifting I'd yell out "bye bye b!tches!" and if the shi!s pop in the air ill have my good o'l parachute.
Sounds cool, but very risky. Would make sure I had more than means...the know-how to pull it off!
It would take an awful lot of balloons. I gotta tell ya, I don't know they got enough. I'm a load man!!
