What is it with a horseradish that affects a hamster?

If a pregnant hamster will eat a horseradish or horseradish roots? What will happen to it and HOW did it happen to it?

Hamster tasts good when served with horseradish
I suppose it will eat the radish and will spare the horse. Anyway, better check it out.
