please give four points of difference between elements and compounds. plzzzzzzzzzz

Elements can not be divided chemically
Elements never have electrostatic bonding.
Compounds never appear on the periodic table

everything else is a result thereof.
like there are about 115 known elements, millions of compounds and so on.
A compound is a stoichiometric formula unit of more than one element. Diamond, graphite, fullerenes, and nanotubes are not compounds, they are allotropes of carbon.
