Solving.. please help?

how do you look for or solve for the number of neurons of an element.?

Answer:
mass number- atomic number= neutrons
atomic nmbr=proton=electron
ex: mass number33
atomic number16

33-16=17(neutron)
proton=16
electron=16
Atomic mass - Number of protons = Number of neutrons.
for example the atomic mass of Sodium (Na) is 23 and the number of protons in it are 11. then the number of neutron in Na atom is:
Atomic mass - Number of protons = Number of neutrons
23 - 11 = 12
so there are 12 neutrons in one sodium atom.
