Phenol + Calciumhydroxide?

Hey Guys,
Can you please help me to complete the following equation?

Phenol + Calciumhydroxide:

C6H5-OH + Ca(OH)2 =

Thanks in advance.

Answer:
Phenol is relatively acidic in organic compounds due to the resonance stablization. More resonance structures can exist by removing the hydrogen atom on -OH. Therefore, it has stronger tendency to ionize than many organic compounds.

Balanced Eqn:
2 C6H5OH + Ca(OH)2 = Ca(C6H5O)2 + 2 H2O

Net Ionic Eqn:
C6H5OH + OH- = C6H5O- + H2O
Phenol is an acidic compound so when treated with a base, it will react like a simple acid base reaction.

2C6H5-OH + Ca(OH)2 = Ca(C6H5-O)2 + 2H2O
2C6H5OH + Ca(OH)2 = ( C6H5OH )2Ca + 2H2O
