What is the relation of a temperature and a gas?

Answer:
Temperature is one of the state properties of any system,ie the state of a system depends on temp. as well as many other factors (eg. vol., pressure etc). In case of gas, there's the Universal gas eqn linking the different state properties of a gaseous system.

PV = nRT.
P =pressure
V= vol.
n = no.of moles of gas present
R= universal gas const.
T = temp. in absolute scale.

However this is for ideal gases, for the real gases the eqn turns into
(P+ an²/V²)(V-nb) = nRT

this is called the Van der waal's eqn. for real gases.

Charles' law states that pressure remaining cont, the vol of a given mass of gas is directy proportional of its absolute temp. It can be directly concluded from the universal gas law.
factors (eg. vol., pressure etc). In case of gas, there's the Universal gas eqn linking the different state properties of a gaseous system.

PV = nRT.

in this case P,n are consts. R is a const too.
=>V = nR/P * T = kT ( k= nR/P = a const.)

=>V α T
ie, vol is directly proportional to temp.
=> all other factors remaining identical, the vol of a given mass of gas is higher at higher temps &lower in lower temps.
As temperature rises, molecules expand, so gas expands and dissipates.
Solids melt and then turn to gas as they are heated and the reverse as they cool but the exact relationship depends on the material.
See Boyle's law.

When the temperature of a gas changes, its Volume or Pressure changes.
1..Temperature Increase <====> Volume Increase and vice-versa. (At Constant Pressure).
2..Temperature Increase <====> Pressure increase and vice-versa. (At Constant Volume).
These are referred to by 1..' Charle's Law ' and 2..' Gay Lussac's ' Law.
