How does the Fire Dept. Determine what the fire danger is?

Answer:
A few factors are involved.Wind speed(more oxygen to burn),relative humidity( the dryness of the air) and the fuel source for the fire itself(combustible matter).A fire needs fuel to burn so when the factors combine to create favorable conditions fires break out, hence when it's raining, unfavorable. When the fuel source is not there a fire cannot burn...Tom Science 4
