Could someone explain curie point and ferromagnetic materials?
Answer:
Curie point is the temperature at which a ferromagnetic material becomes paramagnetic. The neat ordered domains(groups of atoms) in the solid are disturbed and are randomized. In other words, it loses all the properties we come to associate with magnets. When we cool the substance back to a temperature lower than the Curie temperature, it regains its magnetic properties.
It is different for different substances.
