Hey, Please Help! Is chemistry hard?

I am supposed to start school this Friday, I'm already going back to school before it starts to switch one of my electives.

So I want to know if chemistry is hard because my biology teacher had put me into advanced chemistry so I just want to know if it is hard to just do chemistry because then I'll take a regular class.

Answer:
If you're teacher thinks you can do it then you probably can. It's not easy and it's not for everyone but I would try it. I ended up loving it!
Depends on the teacher, my teacher was a **** teacher, she didn't teach chemistry, and she spent forever on easy topics, and graded hard and unintelligibly. Still got an A- for the year though.
take the regular first
take a regular class haha ... yes. chemistry can be hard at times.
Chemistry is a higher level of science, so of course it is more difficult, but just try hard and do good on the majority if the tests and you will pass with a B or higher! good luck
Ask other students who to take chemistry from and who to avoid. This is good advice for all your college classes.

Or look up the profs here:

There is not a lot of difference between basic and college level chemistry. You will learn more information and tackle more complex problems. The experiments will almost be the same but the advanced course will use more math.

If you are good at basic algebra and like science, it will not be a problem. There is memorization of elements, and learning how to balance chemical equations but they are fairly straightforward.

If you need it, take it now. If you are smart, don't sweat the advanced inorganic chemistry. Get it out of the way.
If you're talking high school chemistry, it's mostly inorganic which isn't too bad until you get to redox reactions. That's not to say you can just breeze through, but just about anyone can manage the course with moderate effort. Organic chemistry, and especially biochemistry, can be a real bear.
chemistry is mostly about cramming n a little bit of logic....so if u r good in cramming things.it wont b difficult 4 u
