How to seperating a mixture sand and water?

plz write its observation tooo

Answer:
Drink mixture of water and sand. Spit sand, both will be separated.
filterpaper. the sand gets stuck and the water falls through.
a sieve?? cheesecloth?? a screen?? how much sand and water and where is the mixture?? not much info to go by here.good luck
you may decantate the solution or filtrate it using filter paper...
use a filter paper

observation:- by using a filter paper clear filtrate that isclear water is acheived and sand remain on paper
sand + water :
- decantation i.e. gravitation, the sand will sink
- centrifugation : the solid particules are eliminated by fast rotation, water goes on 1 side and sand on the other. This method is used on oil rigs to separate sand from drilling mud
- filtration : the slowest method, the particules are going to stay on one side of the membrane.
AIM : to separate water and sand
ITEMS REQUIRED : sand, water, glass vessel, filter paper cone, good eyes for observation.
PROCEEDURE : mix water and sand into the glass vessel. let it be unshaken. the sand settles down. pour it slowly into another vessel. pour the remaining into the vessel through the paper cone.
OBSERVATION : the sand particles settle in the paper cone. pure water is obtained.
use the method of filteration using a funnel beaker and filter paper. put the filter paper inside the funnel pour the mixture through the setup you'll get pure water in the beaker kept below and residue will be accumulated in the filter paper.
