How many moles of NaOH are needed to prepare 2.00 L of a 0.250 M NaOH Solution?

please help ,Thanks.

Answer:
from the formular that we use to calculate concentartion,
c=n/v
and when n(moles0 = ?
volme(v) =2.00 litres,
concentration = 0.250M

we make moles the subject of the equation,

the equation becoming: n=concentration x volume

n= 0.250 x 2.00
=0.5 moles.

Bye
0.500 moles
Molarity = moles solute / L solution
moles solute = Molarity x L solution = 2.00 x 0.250 = 0.500
Just multiply the number of Liters by the molarity:
(0.250 moles NaOH/Liter) * (2.00 Liters) = 0.500 moles NaOH
Molarity = no of moles / Vol soln ( L)

no of moles = ( Molarity ) ( Vol )

= ( 0.250 moles/ L ) ( 2.0 L ) = 0.50 moles of NaOH
