Forensic Science?
I also like clinical testing, laboratory testing, and nutrition/dietition stuff...would this be covered in forensics? What other courses cover these topics?
Thanks! :)
Answer:
I have a bachelors degree in forensic science, and it was fun but it's a lot of work, especially with all the chemistry classes, physics, biology. More than half the people who started in the program in my school ended up dropping it bc it was too hard. I was able to do an internship with a crime scene investigator, which was amazing. Most of the classes i took had labs, which isn't all forensics, and i think a lot of people think it will be, but you have to go through organic chemistry, analytical chem, etc, which can have applications in forensic science, but thats not all of it. Right now i work in a lab, making 35-40K a year, which isn't bad for being right out of school but i'm not in a forensics lab yet, since they want some other lab experience first. if you have other questions, i'd be happy to help.
