Chemistry Question please help really appreciate the help?

if you have 2 grams of Aluminum and 3 grams of CuCi^2 then how much Cu should you produce. how do u find out the answer

thanks for the help

Answer:
You need a balanced reaction for starters, something like
2Al + 3 CuCl2 -> 2 AlCl3 + 3Cu
Now you convert your weights to moles. One or the other will be a restraint, since the equation indicates that 2 "moles" of Al react with 3 moles of CuCl2. I suspect that the CuCl2 is the restraint, so your product would be the moles of CuCl2 * the atomic weight of copper.
