Is it harmful using aluminium utensils for cooking?
Answer:
Probably one gets more aluminum from one antacid tablet than from eating food cooked in aluminum vessels for five years.
Aluminum is quite corrosion resistant , except for alkaline chemicals. Pressure cookers in continuous use for more than 30 years do not show much change in thickness. Aluminum is the largest element in the earth's crust and get to ingest it from sources other than from food cooked in aluminum vessels.
There is some scare that Alzheimer's disease is from aluminum ingestion. This has not been validated by any controlled study.
If that were so one would expect to see a lot more of Alzheimer's disease in India than seen.
There is a lot of published toxicological data to show that aluminum is safe.
I've heard that it can cause SuperAIDS. But that's just what I've "heard".
yes
i've often wondered that myself so i use very little of it & teflon is bad if its on high temperatures budgies die they say if in the same room when someone is cooking food on a high heat
No not all in fact we can cook the food very fast and it do sent affect any health problems if you see the pressure cookers use th same technology only.
Aluminium as such is not harmful, but duralumin or some other alloy is better
