Common acids are Hydrochloric, Sulfuric, Bromic, and Nitric which are strong inorganic acids. All Acids have a sour taste. There are also organic acid such as carboxyl acids like Acetic, Oxalic, and Tannic. Salts are the results of a reaction between an acid and a base such as mixing Hydrochloric with Sodium Hydroxide to produce Sodium Chloride (HCl+NaOH=NaCl+H20) Salts have a range of taste going from Salty to sometimes Sweet. Some Salts Are Potassium Chloride, Sodium Nitrate, Barium Chlorate, and Copper Chlorides to name a few. Bases include any chemical with an OH on the end meaning Hydroxide. Many include Potassium Hydroxide, Sodium Hydroxide, and Lithium Hydroxide. Bases have a bitter taste to them.
