Ways to make chromium iron oxide to sodium chromate?

Answer:
1. Dissolve in NaOH to get sodium chromate. Filter to get rid of the iron oxide.
2. Add hydrogen peroxide to the alkaline solution - it will turn orange due to sodium chromate being formed.
It wasn't easy to find the exact procedure for how to do it, but it goes something like this (FeCr2O4=Chromite):

FeCr2O4 + 4NaOH + 2O2 ---> in a kiln (~ over 1000ÂșC) -->

+ 2H2SO4 (to neutralize any base) --> 2NaCrO4 + FeSO4 + Na2SO4 + 4H2O
