If you are a chemistry major then you may be able to find some in the research lab you are working in. You had better get the permission of your research director before you take any though, you could be charged with academic death if you are caught stealing any!!
You will not be able to find a place to buy it anywhere I'm afraid, unless you are a chemist affiliated with a certified laboratory.
But, there are kits you can buy that allow you to make it. Be careful though!

It is wholly dependent upon where you are located. It would be much easier to walk into a business and purchase it. I know of a place in Albuquerque called AlbuChemist.

I know the name is rather ... exciting... but its teh leading manufactureer/supplier/distrib... of chemicals to both labs adn organizations and to regular people ... they also have experiments you can do and sometimes featured articles or stuff.. i used to work in a science museum lab and some of our exhibits or demos used stuff from there soemtiems. check it out!
