Lab scenario question?

In a lab scenario when you pour a liquid from one beaker to another do you place the receiving beaker in the sink?

Answer:
Thats not a good idea because if you spill over into the sink you're putting chemicals down the drain which violates environmental laws.

Better to keep something like a 13x9 pyrex (clear glass) casserole dish in the lab -- very handy for lots of such things
