what is the simplest form for 1/8 + 5/8?

Answer:
1/8 + 5/8=6/8=3/4
that equals 6/8 which reduces to 3/4
6/8=3/4.. dont understand? 1/8 +5/8=6/8=3/4 because the denominator is the same on both fractions...still dont understand? go to purplemath.com they have ALL the answers!

6/8= divide both top and bottom by 2 =3/4
