Do you think the Ammonia on Titan or some of the gas giants smells the same as it does on Earth?

Do you think it still has that strong stench on other planets or moons?

Answer:
yes, it would. assuming both smelling experiments take place under the same conditions.
since ammonia here and there is the same compound with the same physical and chemical properties, and the smell bulbs in your nose are still one and the same, yes it will.
It probably won't. I think Ammonia will smell different if there wasn't any nitrogen or oxygen in the atmosphere. Those gases cause it to have a rank smell.
Yeah, but the other chemicals in the atmosphere would fry your brain before you could qualitate it in your mind. :)
I suppose so, I can't see Titan's ammonia being chemically different to Earth based ammonia, plus our receptors in our noses would also be the same.
there's no reason why it wouldn't. :D
I'm guessing you mean: If we took a sample of Titan's ammonia and smell it on earth, where you wouldn't die before smelling...

Then yes, it would smell pretty much the same, since it's the same compound and it would interact with the same receptors in your nose..

And BTW... errr... methane is odorless Doc...
