Sorry but I thing that the reaction is wrong.
I presume :
H2SO4 + Na2CO3 >> Na2SO4 + H2CO3 ( single replacement)
H2CO3 >> CO2 + H2O ( it is not a redox)
it is a double replacement with a twist, it forms water!!!
you can see that the SO4 went to the Na and the Carbonate combined with the water at low pH to off gas to CO2
