What is the best way to separate alcohol and oil?

Answer:
Fractional distillation - the alcohol will boil off at around 78C, ie at a much lower temperature than the oil.
there's probably an easier way, but I'd de-protonate the alcohol with a strong base. Can you be more specific on the actual alcohol and oil? They freezing points are likely to be vastly different. An ice bath might do the trick.
Gervald is right, fractional distillation is probably the easiest.
Azeotropic distillation will help to separate oil and alcohol...
