What happens if glass is treated with acid?

More accurately, if glass is crushed to produce a powder form of it, then you treat it with acid (1M HCl) what will happen to it?

Answer:
Nothing will happen!

among the well known acids, glass only reacts with hydrofluoric acid(HF), thus glass slowly decays when HF is stored in it.

but it does not react with HCl
nothing will happen... it will only mix with the acid...
