Please help me to find out the percent composition of...?

H3PO4

H2O2

How did you get the answer.I need help in learning this very quickly...thanks

Answer:
Molecular weight H3PO4 = 3 + 31 + 64 = 98 g/mol
% H
3 : 98 = x : 100
x = 3.06 % is the percent composition of H

% P
31 : 98 = x : 100
x = 31.6 %

% O
64 : 98 = x : 100
x = 65.3 %

Molecular weight H2O2 = 2 + 32 = 34 g/mol
%H
2 : 34 = x : 100
x = 5.88 %

% O
32 : 34 = x : 100
x = 94.1 %

I hope this help you
Find the percentage of what element in H3PO4??
Like for eg,percentage of hydrogen...
u calculate the relative molecular mass of phosphoric acid..(98)
n the mass of hydrogen in it(3)...you take the mass of hydrogen divided by H3PO4 and multiply by 100!so, 3/98 *100= 3.06122
for H2O2, relative molecular mass is 34
hydrogen is 2
so, 2/34 *100...=5.88235...
hope it will help.
n sry 4 calculations mistakes if any!...
wel thats for hydrogen..u do the same for the other elemnts..
