Silver is Ag

2Ag + S --> Ag2S

Ag2S is black coloured.
chemical reaction to the protiens in the egg and the silver.
Sulfur in the egg tarnishes the spoon.
Because sulphurous compounds silver sulphide will be formed and silver spoon will have black spots of silver sulphide.
