Why dipeptides do not give positive test result in Biuret test?

Well, the Biuret test gives a colorimetric measure of the ammount of peptide bonds in a given sample. Dipeptides, having only 1 peptide bond per molecule, will give a very slight reaction, which could probably go undetected.
