Why is PCC run in organic solvent and Na2Cr2O7 not?

Is it b/c like dissolves like? But it seems like they should both dissolve in the same types of solvents since they are both salts.

Answer:
PCC is not actually a salt. It's slightly ionic but not enough to run in aqeous solvents. Take a look at the Wikipedia entry for PCC.
