Why do we need to filter calcium hydroxide before titration?



Answer:
because of it´s not too good solubility in water, there might be some CaOH leftover, which needs to be removed. the other reason is, that the main impurity of Ca(OH)2 is CaCO3, which is even less soluble in water and has to be removed.
