What is this about? quantitative interpretation of chemical reactions?

anybody, help? its for my report. thanks!

Answer:
Qualitative - touchy-feelie
Quantitiative - by the numbers

Talking about electrolyzing water is qualitative. Running the numbers to make a given mass of hydrogen or oxygen given water, electrolyte, current, and voltage is quanititative. You need both as the second evolves from the first.
