How many grams of a solution that is 13.2 percent by mass AgNO3 would contain 30.0 g of AgNO3?

also how do you calculate the mass of this problem.please, thanks!

Concentrated hydrochloric acid has a density of 1.19 g/mL. Calculate the mass of 228.3 mL of this acid.

Answer:
Problem 1:
13.2% by mass means that in 100g of solution, 13.2g are AgNO3
So:
13.2g AgNO3 are present in 100g solution
30g AgNO3 are present in ? ==> 30 * 100 / 13.2 = 227.3g of solution (Answer)

Problem 2:
Density = Mass / Volume
Therefore Mass = Density * Volume = 1.19 * 228.3 = 271.68 g
(Answer)
all you're looking to do is dimensional analysis, this stuff is really easy. divide your wanted mass by the percentage in the sample (aka 30.0/.132) and you'll get your mass of the sample.

for the other one, multiply your two numbers together.
