How do green flames work on lighters?
Hi, I have just got a lighter that uses normal butane gas but lights a green flame.. how does it work?
I thought it could be there is some copper or something that it heats up because there is a a second delay before the flame goes green?...
Answer:
There is a copper thread in the flame that makes the flame green, It only lasts 20 or 30 lights. Amaze your friends while it lasts!
Instead of butane use green food color from any grocery store.
