Dose polymer clay (fimo) contaminate/react with water if contact is made?

Answer:
It will hold water just fine, but it's not safe for use with alcohol.
After it is baked, polymer clay is waterproof but do not put it in the dishwasher. And it is not to be used for eating or drinking from. You can cover the ends of utensils or the out side of dishes and glasses but only hand wash them. Do not put/use any other liquids with them.
